Responsible Play Policy

PredictX is designed to be a fun, skill-based prediction game. While no real money is involved, we take responsible engagement seriously and have built multiple safeguards into the Platform.

1. Our Philosophy

We believe prediction gaming should be an entertaining and intellectually stimulating activity. Our responsible play framework is built on four pillars:

  • Prevention: Proactive safeguards to prevent problematic behavior
  • Detection: Systems to identify at-risk users early
  • Intervention: Tools and support for users who need help
  • Education: Information to help users make informed choices

2. Age Verification

PredictX is strictly for users aged 18 and above. We verify age through OTP-linked phone number verification during signup. Users found to be underage will have their accounts immediately terminated and all associated data deleted.

3. Daily Token Limits

To prevent excessive engagement, we enforce a daily token commitment cap of 10,000 tokens. This applies globally across all predictions and groups. Once reached, users cannot place new predictions until the next calendar day (midnight IST).

This cap:

  • Encourages thoughtful, quality predictions over volume
  • Cannot be increased, bypassed, or purchased away
  • Applies equally to all users regardless of platform tenure or rank

4. Session Time Alerts

After 2 hours of continuous use, PredictX displays a session alert reminding you to take a break. Additional alerts appear at every subsequent hour. These alerts serve as healthy engagement checkpoints and encourage balanced usage.

5. Self-Exclusion

Any user can voluntarily self-exclude from the Platform. Available options:

  • 24 hours — Quick cool-down period
  • 7 days — Short-term break
  • 30 days — Extended break
  • Indefinite — Reversible only by contacting support after a 30-day waiting period

During self-exclusion:

  • You cannot place new predictions
  • You cannot access app features (read-only profile access only)
  • Active predictions will resolve normally and tokens will be credited
  • Self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the chosen period ends
  • All notifications are suppressed during exclusion

6. Fair Platform Design

PredictX is deliberately designed to avoid addictive patterns:

  • No loss-chasing mechanics — We do not offer "double or nothing" or recovery markets
  • No artificial urgency — No countdown timers designed to pressure decisions
  • No predatory notifications — We don't send push notifications designed to lure back inactive users with FOMO
  • Transparent mechanics — Crowd probability percentages, potential returns, and the 5% platform fee are always visible
  • Skill focus — Leaderboards reward accuracy and consistency, not volume of predictions

7. Behavioral Monitoring

Our systems monitor for patterns that may indicate problematic behavior, including:

  • Rapid-fire prediction placement
  • Consistently hitting daily token caps
  • Excessive session durations (>4 hours)
  • Immediate re-engagement after session alerts

When concerning patterns are detected, we may proactively reach out with support resources and reduce notification frequency.

8. Important Reminder

PredictX tokens have zero monetary value. They cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or converted into real money, goods, or services. PredictX is a skill-based prediction game, not a gambling or betting platform.
